I'm Holding Me Back/Long Time No Talk

Goodness me, I haven't updated this in FOREVER!!!
I'm hoping over the next 2 week break, in between AP projects, I can maybe get back into the swing of things and do a bit more makeup.
Part of it has been me wanting to give my skin a break (when I break out, it's usually cystic acne, so I kinda wanted to let all that pass) and part of it has been a bit of a conflict I've been dealing with.
I'm taking an AP Art History course at school and I'm good at it...Like, I'm really good it.
It's a class I really enjoy and I just get it. I understand it all. I've been thinking lately of going to a college and studying anthropology and archaeology, and maybe becoming an archaeologist or a curator, and do makeup as a hobby. But I talked with people at my school who help students plan for their future and I'm re-thinking everything. I just want to do so much with my life. I want to learn about everything I can. I know I have a lifetime to find where I belong, but I wish I could find it faster. I hope this week I can do a bit of searching and getting a better idea of what might be in store for me after high school. I just need a bit of guidance and a nudge in the right direction. I need to stop being so afraid and just go for it. There are so many people around me, encouraging me and cheering me on and giving me so much support. Now I just need to find a way to believe and support myself. At this point, I'm the only one holding me back. Thank you everyone who believes in me. It means more to me then I could ever begin to say♥

1. Stomach clenching laughs

While this list has no order, this is mos def one of the top things that makes me happy.

Laughing until you form abs has to be the GREATEST feeling in the world.

Those laughs are the ones that I relish.

The painfully joyful breathless moments and the silly jokes that produce them are rare moments of total and complete happiness.

 So I finally got some liquid latex and I tried it out.
Still getting the hang of it.
I was going for the janitor, Colin, from Silent Hill.
Yeaaaaaaa...didn't happen ;_;
I'm really not happy at all with the way this came out, but I thought "Hey! What the heck!" lol

I'm not ready to let you go yet...

I feel like I've lost some of my friends over the summer, reguardless of the fact that we still see each other. Doesn't matter that we still talk and laugh. I still feel like I've lost you. This may be a sign that I need to let some people go. But for some of you, I'm not ready to. I need to spend some time finding you again.

Lord of the Rings = Epic Awesomeness/n00b class

Allow me, for a moment, to totally just RANT.

In English class, we did a bit of reading from Lord of the Rings.
The reading was a bit from the Battle of Pelennor Fields (the battle for Minas Tirith).
I was so jazzed because, I L♥VE Lord of the Rings (and when I'm out of school, it's one of the series on my "GOTTA READ" list cuz I don't have time during school lol).
So like, yea, I knew everything that was going on while we were reading it. I knew the characters, I knew what the battle was about, I had the images of the people in my head.
I GOT DIS!

Well, I had forgotten that were going to watch a clip from the movie about the Battle of Pelennor Fields.
So I was wicked excited!
Karl Urban, Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom...basically wizards, hobbits, elves, ghosts, men, orcs, epic huge-scale battles, Nazgul, giant elephants, and all things awesome and fantasy filled my English class.
And then she just let the movie run on and on *_* THANK YOU MISS!!!
Yes, way awesome. Totally made my day.

...Then people started asking questions.

Now look, I'm all for educating people on the awesomeness that is Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings", but I never realized how hard it would be to actually EXPLAIN it ;_;
I've never had a conversation with anyone who doesn't know anything about Lord of the Rings...which was pretty much my ENTIRE class...
There's probably around 20-somethin' people in my class. Pretty much 3 of us knew about LotR (which really suprised me. I thought more people had seen it).

So me and this other guy (the 3rd person was across the room) basically had to team up and while the movie was playing, give them a play-by-play and try to educate everyone on what was going on XD
And I thought "Oh, it's no big deal."
...IT WAS A HUGE DEAL!
Because without a back story, people won't understand.

"WHY ARE THEY SO LITTLE?!?!"
...You can't just say "Because they're hobbits."
"WHAT'S A HOBBIT?!"
Then ya gotta go into half-lings, why they have such huge feet/why they don't wear shoes, the Shire.

"...A WHAT?"
"...**sigh**"

"WHY IS HE DESTROYING THAT RING?! IT'S MADE OF GOLD!!!"

Then we had to explain Gandalf, the eagles, who Faramir was and why Denethor was trying to burn him alive, orcs and where they came from/what they were.

Then I almost had to get into what n00b meant, but just decided to end that right then and there with a quick "Just don't worry about it."

Me and this guy realized 2 things today: We needed to have a LotR's marathon and being a nerd is hard work.

A Different Time, A Different Me

It's so strange...people who haven't talked to me in one year, two years, and even three years have been trying to talk to me lately.


Like, trying to say "Hi" and start conversations with me and add me on facebook, and to be completely honest...I think it's weird...

Now, these aren't people that I lost contact with because of distance or because of classes.

These are people who flat out either ditched me or flat out ignored the fact that I was even alive at some point or another.



And I've realized how much I've grown...



Before I would have crawled on my hands and knees just to be apart of their circle of friends (either "again" or just in general).

Now, none of that matters anymore.



Sometimes you meet people who are so truly amazing.

I've met these people.

And I know in my heart, this is what friendship is♥



To all those beautiful souls who are in or have been in my life: Much love and thank you for being apart of my life.



You've all influenced me and changed me for the better, without even meaning to.
